Guy keeps parking his car in cousin's private parking spot after finding out cousin lives in the same building as his girlfriend, cousin demands he stop: ‘I have nowhere to park’

How far are you willing to go to help a family member for nothing in return? 

Some people would do anything for the family, simply because they are family. Others prefer to set boundaries to ensure they will not be taken advantage of. Then there are those who only take from others, using the 'family' excuse to get their way.

Take the guy in the story below as an example. As soon as he found out that his cousin lived in the same apartment building as his girlfriend, he saw the perfect opportunity to make his life easier at the expense of his cousin. He did so by taking over the cousin's private parking spot, leaving the cousin to struggle to find parking in their own building, while paying for a spot they never get to use.

  • Getting the guy's car towed doesn't sound like such a bad idea, if we're being honest. It would teach him a lesson and possibly ease the mind of the cousin, at least until the rest of the family gets involved.
